Katherine has over 40 years of experience in patient access. Starting in the 80’s at lagrange, the Sherman, then Lutheran then working for passport/Experian. Katherine founded Aipam in 2005 with the help of some other vendors and patien access professionals.

with over 20 years of experience in healthcare operations. John has also worked as a Revenue Cycle Consultant for a big Four Accounting Firm. Additionally, John is a certified trainer in EPIC, Certified Patient Access Manager, Certified Revenue Cycle Representative and he holds a master's degree in business administration. He is also a Commissioner on the Elmhurst Preservation Commission and a member of the St. Demetrios Greak Orthodox Church Parish Council. In his free time, John enjoys spending time with his wife, and two children (6 years old) and (3 years old).

Helena is responsible for IHA’s PFS program, which provides participating hospitals and health systems with timely information on regulatory and administrative changes impacting revenue cycle operations, a forum for sharing best practices and addressing collective revenue cycle concerns, and technical assistance on a variety of Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer billing and payment issues. She also works closely with IHA’s policy and advocacy team to address operational challenges arising from the Illinois Medicaid managed care expansion.

Presenter Bio- Alexander ‘Alex’ Dawson is a seasoned product management professional with a decade of experience in technology products in healthcare informatics and revenue cycle management. Prior to Janus, Alex spent time with IMO Health, Change Healthcare, and the BCBSA leading the development of solutions saving healthcare customers millions in costs. At Janus, Alex helps drive innovation for RCM workflows by applying his healthcare technology acumen to automation of some of the most complex administrative processes in healthcare.
Alex has a BA in Mathematics, Thomas Edison State University and was the recipient of the Arnold Fletcher Award for Outstanding Independent Academic Achievement.
